Yipp ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at yipp.ai.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: your email address, name, and password when creating an account. When you upload a CV, we process the document content including your work experience, education, skills, and contact details. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information through analytics tools.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve our CV optimization services; parse and analyze your CV content; generate AI-optimized versions of your resume; send transactional emails about your account and uploads; and analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the platform.
AI Processing
Your CV content is processed by AI models (Anthropic Claude) to extract, optimize, and reformat your resume. This processing happens in real-time and the AI does not retain your data after processing. We do not use your CV data to train AI models. Your documents are processed solely to deliver the service you requested.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. CV files are stored in secure cloud storage with access controls. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted database connections, and role-based access controls.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with: Anthropic (AI processing, under their data processing agreement), Supabase (infrastructure), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (anonymous analytics), and Sentry (error tracking). All service providers are bound by data processing agreements.
Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics to understand how the platform is used. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data; download your CV data; correct inaccurate information; delete your account and all associated data at any time; and withdraw consent for data processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@yipp.ai or use the account deletion feature in your dashboard.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
